Do I need a doctor’s referral to be evaluated by a physical therapist?

California law allows you to be treated by a Physical Therapist for up to twelve (12) sessions or forty-five (45) days without a referral. However if you plan to use your health insurance, some policies still do require referrals to cover the treatment. Please check with your insurance provider for more information.

What types of health insurance do you accept?

We accept Medicare, Workers Compensation, Blue Cross and most other PPOs, as well as self-pay options. Please contact our office or your insurance provider for more information.
